FRIESE BALLONFEESTEN (hereinafter: the event) is organized by STICHTING FRIESE BALLONFEESTEN. REGISTERED OFFICE AT PRINS BERNHARDLAAN 32, 8501JG JOURE (Chamber of Commerce number: 41005257, VAT NUMBER: NL 8039.646.87.B01), HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS 'THE ORGANIZATION' respects the privacy of its customers and of all visitors to the ballonfeesten.nl website (hereinafter: the website) and/or the event (hereinafter jointly: the visitors). The organization ensures that the personal information is treated confidentially. Personal data is processed in accordance with the legal provisions as prescribed by the Data Protection Act.
Applicability
This privacy statement provides information about the processing of personal data by the organization and only relates to the use of personal data of visitors to the website and/or the event. This privacy statement does not apply to the websites of other third parties to which the organization offers its mailings a hyperlink on the website. What personal data does Friese Ballonfeesten use?
When purchasing tickets for the event, the visitor (whether or not by the relevant (pre) sales organization) may be asked for personal data, such as name, (email) address and telephone number, which information the organization then obtains from the (pre) sales organization.
In addition, the organization can use visitors' personal data, such as name, (email) address and telephone number, that it obtains directly from visitors in connection with orders placed with the organization via the website.
The organization can also obtain surfing data (including IP address, date and time of visit to the website) from visitors to the website.
In order to register a payment instrument obtained from the organization for the event, such as a wristband or debit card that can be used to pay for refreshments during the event, the visitor will be asked to provide an email address and password. In order to be able to refund the outstanding amount of the balance that was deposited by the visitor to a registered payment instrument in the event of loss or theft, the visitor will be asked to provide details such as the visitor's name, e-mail, bank account number and telephone number and inspection of a valid ID is required.
What is your personal data used for?
The organization initially uses the data to carry out the agreements with visitors as well as possible and for internal administration. More specifically, the organization can collect and use personal data:
- For the purpose of sending the tickets or products purchased from the organization to the right person;
- To be able to link a payment instrument purchased by the visitor from the organization, only if the visitor chooses to do so, to be able to block the payment instrument in the event of loss or theft;
- To be able to refund (any) remaining balance on a payment instrument obtained by the visitor from the organization, only if the visitor chooses to do so, in the event of loss or theft and to be able to take security measures in this regard and to prevent fraud as much as possible;
- To inform visitors, for example via a newsletter, about changes with regard to tickets and/or about concerts and events organized by the organization;
- For the purpose of entering into, maintaining and improving the contractual relationship with its (potential) customers, or for improving services and products; and/or
- To apply and implement legal obligations.
The data is not used for purposes other than those described above. The organization will not provide data to third parties without the visitor's explicit consent, unless this is necessary to execute the agreement with the visitor, for example to send tickets, or improve services and products, or unless it is legally obliged to do so. The organization has the option to send newsletters by email. At the bottom of each newsletter that you receive from the organization, you have the option to unsubscribe. If you unsubscribe, you will no longer receive newsletters with information. Any backups of the stored data made by the organization for the optimal functioning of the systems are only used to restore the systems in the event of a failure.
Surfing data and click behavior
Surfing data that the organization collects can be stored and used to statistically analyze and optimize the visit to and use of the website. Surfing data is (as far as possible) anonymized. Only anonymized data can be transferred to third parties, such as Google Analytics.
Cookies and Google Analytics
The organization reserves the right, like most websites, to collect information by using so-called “cookies” to make it easier to navigate the website. Retention period
The organization does not store personal data longer than necessary for the execution of the agreements and in any case no longer than two years after the agreement has ended, unless this is necessary to comply with a legal retention obligation.
Inspection and correction
Visitors can visit the organization via the email address info@ballonfeesten.nl request in writing to view, correct and/or delete his (personal) data. Upon written request, any corrections will be processed. The visitor must ensure that the organization has the correct personal data.
Changes
The organization reserves the right to make changes to this privacy statement. Visitors are advised to regularly review the privacy policy for changes.
